2019年12月，美國環保署(U.S. EPA)根據毒性物質控制法案(Toxic Substances Control Act, TSCA)開始對20個物質進行風險評估，並於2020年4月釋出初步結果。收集完各界的評論，美國環保署於2020年8月釋出針對評論的回覆與各物質最終完整評估報告。20個物質如下：
